Serving in Redeemer Kids Sunday School

Thank you for your interest in serving in Redeemer Kids! Redeemer Kids is committed to being Christ Exalting, Child Engaging, Purposefully Creative, and Really Fun for kids of ages brith-5th grade! Redeemer Kids exists to teach the gospel of Jesus and the truth of the Bible in a way that is developmentally appropriate and engaging for kids. We cannot wait to see how you and your unique gifts help us to better serve our kids and families at Redeemer!

Volunteer Positions

Check the boxes for the position(s) you are interested in serving. Redeemer Kids Sunday School positions serve as noted and Redeemer Nursery serves once every 6-8 weeks (depending on volunteer numbers).

Members only; or member-in-process // Serves alongside a classroom team and is responsible for the director and teaching of that classroom // Serves weekly (with the option to take off a trimester, and plenty of options to cover travel and sickness)

Serves alongside the Lead Teacher in the classroom // Serves weekly (with the option to take off a trimester, and plenty of options to cover travel and sickness)

Members only, or members-in-process // Serves alongside another coordinator to run the hallway during Sunday School; including assisting new families with check-in, supplying any classroom needs, and floating for any unexpected needs // Serves weekly (with the option to take off a trimester, and plenty of options to cover travel and sickness)

Not assigned to a classroom, but is available to fill whatever need may arise // Serves once a month

Goes through the same on-boarding and training as other volunteers, and is part of a sub list for volunteers to call in whenever needed // Serves as needed

Serving and Training

By checking this box, you agree to submit to the on-boarding process for serving with Redeemer Kids or in the Redeemer Nursery. This process includes 1) submitting to a background check, 2) completing the Ministry Safe Training, 3) having regularly attended Redeemer for a minimum of 4 months, and 4) going through the Membership Process for any positions set to Members Only.
